31 years ago, I had my 1st office visit with Dr. Jewell after a referral from my ENT Doctor in Hendersonville. Having already been in Law Enforcement 21 years, I was beginning to notice a difference in my hearing capabilities and wanted to be both proactive towards protecting my hearing and be able to continue my career. With Dr. Jewell's knowledge and experience, along with her staying on top of the industry advances and being the "Professional Jewell" she is, I was able to continue my career until retirement and STILL hear and talk with my young grand boys as I am now in my 70's.
In today's society, everything is fast paced and right now. Dr. Jewell and Dr. Laura, along with Miss Lisa and Miss Michelle in the office, take the individual patient's hearing seriously. With the advances of the hearing aid technology in both ITE and BTE, individuals with 80% or more hearing loss can now carry on normal conversations and hear things they haven't in years.
And the individuals, both in the Law Enforcement community and others that have asked me about and gone to Dr. Jewell's were NOT disappointed and still use her for their hearing needs to this day.
Dr. Jewell and her colleagues are definitely the "Crown Jewels" to see for the hearing challenged.

I chose Dr. Jewell Baggett-Strehlau, because of the great reviews I have read online. I researched some of the work she has done and chose her out of five other audiologists in Nashville. My experience with her was nothing but 100% perfect. Ever since I walked in, I felt that I was important, that I was the only patient she had. She explained every step of the procedure, what I was to expect and then she was very sympathetic with me when she told me how much hearing loss I had, because I was very upset about my hearing loss. I was afraid that I was going to have to wear big, ugly hearing aids. The day came when I got my hearing aids. When I got them and went outside, I heard birds sing for the first time in three years. I told my husband “I can hear…I can hear everything around me”. I had suffered through feeling like everyone was mumbling, things were garbled, I did’nt even know what I was agreeing to. I tell people now not to holler at me anymore because I can hear. I would be happy to talk to anyone about my experience. She is an exceptional doctor of audiology, because she goes beyond the doctor/patient relationship to make sure that her patients have what they need to succeed in their normal everyday lives. I would recommend Dr. Jewell to anyone that needs hearing help.

This hearing aid is the best of the many that I have used over the years. I have no hearing in one ear, but now I can hear most everything. In fact, I can things many people can’t. It was a Godsend for me.
